Fatal Stabbing in Camden: Ahmed Jama, 29, Resident of the Borough Stabbed to Death in Camden
The victim of a fatal stabbing in Camden has been identified as Ahmed Jama, a resident of the borough. The tragic incident unfolded near Gaymead, on the Abbey Estate, in Abbey Road at approximately 19:32 GMT on Friday, 29 December.
Upon discovery with stab wounds, officers and paramedics swiftly provided first aid to the 29-year-old. Despite their efforts, Ahmed Jama succumbed to his injuries later that evening at 21:55 GMT after being transported to the hospital.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command are actively investigating the case, and Ahmed’s grieving family is receiving support during this difficult time.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, leading the investigation, issued an appeal to potential witnesses: “We would like to speak to anyone who either witnessed the stabbing or has information about who was responsible. Ahmed’s family are starting their New Year devastated by their loss. If you have any information that could help our investigation, please get in touch.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging individuals with relevant information to come forward.
