Albert Gibbs Death – Albert Gibbs, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the founder of Albert Gibbs Leadership Academy, has sadly passed away. He was announced dead by his beloved sister through a social media publication that read, “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of my brother Albert Gibbs II. Forever in our hearts. SIP, brother, I love you.” Albert Gibbs’ cause of death was not mentioned.
Who was Albert Gibbs?
Albert Gibbs II is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a 2001 graduate of Deerfield Beach High School who went on to study at the University of South Florida where he received degrees in Business Marketing and Creative Writing and did post-graduate Studies at Imperial College in London, England, studying International Business.
He is a published author, spoken word artist, a 30 under 30 recipient by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, 40 under 40 Black business leaders of South Florida.
Currently, Albert was a sales leader with Amazon Web Services (AWS), selling services to startup organizations focused on AI and Machine Learning. He was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Toastmasters International, and a former mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Throughout Albert’s career, he has always mentored youth. First through The Big Brother Big Sister program during and after college, then as a founding member of the Dress for Success Program in Oakland, California, and now as the founder of The Albert Gibbs Leadership Academy. He inspired people to live their truth and have a purpose in life, and he told people to stop being judgmental and start being kind and loving.

Shirley Sims said in a social media publication that, “Dear God, thank you for celebrating life. Thank you for granting me the last 8 years of my life to celebrate with Albert Gibbs II. I am thankful for the wonderful memories, our daughter, our son, and all the laughter and joy he brought to my life.” Shirley also said, “It is very sad, Albert departed from earth last night, but he will be our guardian angel. Rest In Peace, Albert. I love you, and you will never be forgotten. My heart is so heavy.”
Devin Vaughn also wrote “Wake up this morning with a heavy heart a great father a great man and a great cousin is gone I don’t believe but I have to accept it I am going to miss u cuz the conversation and motivation u gave me I love fam Albert Gibbs watch over the family and guide and protect us the Walden and the batts family.”
