Alyssa Durrant Waupaca WI Death:- Alyssa “Yaya” Durrant of Ogdensburg, age 22, has passed away. She was announced dead on October 10, 2024.
Alyssa Durrant, a longtime resident of Waupaca, Wisconsin died of a brain bleed. Thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.
About Alyssa Durrant
Alyssa was born on December 24, 2001, in Waupaca to Darick Tankersley and Amber Durrant. She graduated from Waupaca High School in 2020 and pursued her passion for helping others by becoming a CNA and a First Responder in Ogdensburg.
Alyssa worked at Living Oaks and The Willows in Iola. She enjoyed four-wheeling, paddleboarding, and playing pool. She also cherished hunting trips with her grandpa and uncle. As an organ donor, Alyssa’s spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she impacted.

She will be dearly missed by her mom: Amber Durrant; dad: Darick (Valerie) Tankersley; step-mom: Lora Tankersley; grandparents: Paul and Paula Durrant; siblings: Owen and Tallan Tankersley, Madyson Dobratz, Ty Welsh, Tora and Terry Schneider; soul sister: Alejandra Mendoza; uncles: Dustin (Kimberly) Durrant, Patrick, Travis and Tyler Tankersley; aunts: Tonya (Chuck) Heling; Kari (Henry) Kallstrom; special friend: Cindy Prinsen; her devoted dog and partner in crime: Tully; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Walters Tankersley and Joan Wilson; maternal great grandparents, Al Zielke and Edmund and Elizabeth Durrant.
The Celebration of Life will be on October 26, 2024 from 1 – 5 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Fire Department.
