Amanda Harms’ Death, 46-year-old Muskogee woman and teacher found dead after missing since Jan. 13
In an update from the Muskogee Police Department, Amanda “Mandi” Harms, a 46-year-old woman missing since Saturday, January 13, 2024, was found dead on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Ms. Harms, a teacher in the Muskogee community, was last seen leaving her residence on foot from the 4400 block of Denison Street. An extensive search and public appeal for information followed.
Her body was discovered in a yard in the 600 block of West Martin. The cause of death is under investigation. Tributes began pouring in for the educator as news of her death spread through the community.
