Arash Missaghi Toronto Death – Three people died following a deadly shooting that happened on Monday at a North York business. Two out of the three victims were identified as Arash Missaghi, 54, of Toronto, and Samira Yousefi, 44, of Concord.
Photos of the victims have not been released. According to reports, Arash Missaghi and Samira Yousefi passed away from injuries sustained in the shooting incident. The third victim is believed to be a 46-year-old man. Authorities also believed that the man was responsible for the killing.
How did the shooting happen?
The shooting occurred at a North York business on Mallard Road, near Don Mills Road, at about 3:35 p.m. Reports claim that there was an altercation at the company before the shooting.
When officers arrived, they discovered three people deceased. Arash Missaghi, who had previously been charged with a $17-million mortgage fraud case, was among them.
Missaghi faced charges that included fraud exceeding $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, being an accessory after the fact to an indictable offence, and uttering forged documents.
Monday’s shooting took place near a daycare and a school, both of which were promptly locked down. After the police’s emergency task force and canine units thoroughly searched the building, the children could leave safely.
Police said anyone with information is urged to come forward.
