Bill Brewster Atlanta GA Death – The managing partner of Kilpatrick Townsend and the board chairman of Giving Kitchen, Bill Brewster, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia has passed away.

Giving Kitchen released a statement announcing his death, saying, “We share the news of the passing of our dear friend, longtime supporter, and Giving Kitchen Board Chair, Bill Brewster with a heavy heart.” We are startled and very saddened by his abrupt and unexpected demise.

Bill Brewster specializes in trademark, unfair competition, and deceptive advertising litigation. Starting in 2001, Mr. Brewster served as managing partner of Kilpatrick Townsend for six years.

He was a managing partner after chairing the IP Department, which provided him with a unique mid-career first-hand understanding of clients and their businesses in addition to the legal sector.

He was co-chair of the 100-lawyer Trademark & Copyright Team and currently sits on the firm’s pro bono committee. For fourteen years, Mr. Brewster was an adjunct professor of trademark law at Emory University School of Law and taught ethics at the University of Virginia School of Law. He is currently a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, Capital City Club, and Farmington Country Club.

In his capacity as board chair, he oversaw the organization’s growth from providing services to Atlanta’s food service workers to clients all throughout the nation. The charity provided assistance to 4,000 food service workers in just five years, but in the subsequent five years, it aided 18,000 of them. In his four years as chair, Bill has handled 82% of all GK clients.
