Brandon Puskarcik Ohio Death – The Jackson-Milton community is mourning the loss of Brandon Puskarcik, the Head Coach of the Jackson-Milton Middle School football team.
Coach Puskarcik, who had been coaching football for five years, tragically passed away just before the start of his first full season as head coach. His enthusiasm and dedication to coaching had earned him the respect and admiration of students, parents, and fellow coaches alike.
Coach Puskarcik had been an integral part of the Jackson-Milton Gridiron program, first joining as an assistant coach for the middle school football team in 2023.
He was excited to take on the role of head coach, where he hoped to continue shaping the lives of young athletes by instilling in them the values of teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
His commitment to the team was evident, and he looked forward to leading the student-athletes as they developed their skills both on and off the field.
A proud graduate of Chaney High School in 2001, Brandon went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University (YSU). Despite his professional education, it was coaching football that he truly loved, and he made a significant impact in the lives of those he coached. His leadership, energy, and positive attitude will be missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Brandon’s passing leaves a deep hole in the hearts of his family, including his wife Melina and their children, Jasena and Brandon. Residing in North Jackson, he was not just a coach but an active member of his community. His passing will be deeply felt by the entire Jackson-Milton community, and his legacy will live on in the young athletes he mentored.
A memorial service to celebrate Coach Puskarcik’s life will be scheduled in the coming days. His dedication to the team, his family, and his community will be remembered fondly. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time, and we extend our deepest condolences to them. Coach Puskarcik will forever be remembered for his contributions to Jackson-Milton athletics and the impact he made in the lives of so many.
