Brandy Cook Rayville LA Car Accident – A tragic head-on collision on U.S. Highway 80 near Tupelo Drive claimed the life of 32-year-old Brandy Cook from Rayville on Tuesday morning, according to Louisiana State Police.
Authorities say the crash occurred when 22-year-old Jaylen Hall, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound, veered across the centerline and collided head-on with Cook’s westbound 2012 Toyota Prius. The impact of the crash was devastating.
Cook, who was properly restrained with a seatbelt, tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Hall, however, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Louisiana State Police continue to urge motorists to practice safe driving habits, including wearing seatbelts at all times and remaining alert while on the road.
