Caitlynn Heron Cooper City Car Accident Death, Boyfriend Joseph Foster survived after crash October 2nd

Caitlynn Heron, a beloved resident of Cooper City, Florida, and a loving daughter and sister has tragically passed away. She was 23 years old at the time of her death.

Authorities in Cooper City reported that a car carrying two individuals had crashed into a canal early on Wednesday morning, killing a woman.

Around six in the morning, according to Broward Sheriff’s Office authorities, deputies and fire rescue arrived at the canal at Griffin Road and Southwest 90th Avenue, and a dive team started looking for the car.

The woman driving the automobile was unable to escape, but a male who was a passenger did. The sheriff’s office reported that she was discovered deceased within the car. Her mother gave her age as Caitlynn Heron, 23.

She said her identity was aided by their matching tattoos. The man was brought to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Later on, Joseph Foster, a 24-year-old Davie resident, was identified as him.

More than a dozen rescue vehicles were seen parked close to the canal in aerial footage while divers investigated the waters. Later on in the video, it was seen being removed from the canal with the damaged white car.

Investigators think it was a single-car collision involving an Infiniti G37XS, according to BSO spokeswoman Carey Codd. Unknown causes caused the automobile to deviate, hitting a raised concrete walkway, a tiny bridge’s wall and sending it flying before it entered the water, according to Codd.

According to authorities, they are also looking into how the crash occurred. Due to the incident, Griffin Road’s westbound lanes were closed from Pine Island Road to the 8800 block of Griffin Road. According to BSO, Orange Drive was also closed between the 8700 and 8800 blocks. Orange Drive will probably be blocked for some time, but Griffin Road will reopen shortly, according to officials.
