Ramon Gilberto Car Accident – Gallatin County Sheriff/Coroner Dan Springer has released the names of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a vehicle crash on Huffine Lane on Saturday night.
Ramon Gilberto Morquecho Velazquez, 41, and 58-year-old Blanca Manzanares Ramirez, both residents of Arizona, died at the scene of the crash.
The accident occurred when their Chevrolet Silverado, traveling eastbound on Huffine Lane, crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with a Ford F-250 driven by a 16-year-old male from Bozeman.
Both occupants of the Silverado were pronounced dead at the scene. The teenage driver was transported to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center with injuries; his current condition has not been disclosed.
Preliminary investigations suggest that alcohol and speed may have been contributing factors in the crash. All individuals involved were reported to be wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
This tragic incident has heightened concerns among local residents regarding safety on Huffine Lane, prompting discussions about potential measures to prevent future accidents in the area.
