Cash Gaudio Lynchburg, VA Obituary: Man, 19, killed in shooting; Nathaniel Lee Pridemore charged with murder

Cash Gaudio Lynchburg, VA Obituary: 33-year-old Nathaniel Lee Pridemore has been charged in the murder of 19-year-old Cash Gaudio in Lynchburg, VA on Monday afternoon.

Police said Pridemore shot and killed Gaudio in the 100 block of Fairlea Court.

According to the Lynchburg Police Department, – At approximately 3:45 PM today, the Lynchburg Police Department and Lynchburg Fire Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Fairlea Court.

One adult male was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. A person of interest has been detained. There is no active threat to the public.

A suspect identified as Nathaniel Lee Pridemore has been arrested. Pridemore was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond on the following charges:

  • 2nd Degree Murder
  • Use of a Firearm
  • Felony Child Endangerment
  • Discharge of a Firearm in the City
  • Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Vehicle
  • Reckless Handling
  • Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm
  • Cash worked as a Pool Lifeguard at the YMCA and was a student at the University of Virginia. A candlelight vigil is currently planned for the tragically claimed young man. Cash Gaudio was a son, brother, grandson, friend, student, and co-worker.
