Charles McMillan Death – A tragic accident occurred early Friday morning near the intersection of N.M. 502 and Camino Entranda.
At approximately 5:16 a.m. on September 6, 2024, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle accident on N.M. 502 near the intersection of Camino Entrada.
A few minutes following the call’s receipt, officers arrived at the location. The Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) was also notified and arrived on the scene within minutes of the notification. They commenced the treatment of three patients who were involved in the incident. Two patients were transported to the Los Alamos Medical Centre.
A 22-year-old female was treated for minor injuries. Regrettably, a 69-year-old male was declared deceased at the Los Alamos Medical Centre due to his injuries. The victim was identified as Los Alamos National Laboratory former director, Charles McMillan.
The LAPD’s crash squad is currently conducting an investigation into the accident and its cause.
