Christian Ortega Lawrenceville GA Death – Everyone who had the honor of knowing Christian Ortega, a 19-year-old Lawrenceville, Georgia native, will never forget his passing.

Christian’s life was abruptly taken on Sunday, August 18, 2024, leaving his friends, family, and community in a state of tremendous sadness. Christian was well-known for his unwavering friendliness, giving demeanor, and lively energy that affected everyone he encountered.

He was born and raised in Lawrenceville. He was a bright young guy with goals and ideas that went well beyond anything this world could offer him. His untimely death has left an indelible hole in the lives of those who loved him, and now the emphasis is on commemorating his life, paying tribute to his memory, and uniting to find comfort during this period of extreme loss.

Christian Ortega’s brother, friend, and beloved son have passed away, leaving his family in shock. The love and memories they have of Christian together with his parents, siblings, extended family, and close friends are giving them strength.

Stories have been spoken, tears have been shed, and hugs have been given as people remember the influence Christian had on their lives in the days after his departure. On Friday, August 23, 2024, at 10:30 AM, St. Benedict Catholic Church in Duluth, GA will host a funeral mass in his honor. Fr. Avery Daniel will lead the congregation in prayer and thought during the service, bringing words of consolation and hope.

Christian was a devoted churchgoer, so it seems appropriate that his last goodbye should be at a place where he felt at ease and connected. Family, friends, and neighbors are welcome to attend the service, offer support to one another, and draw strength from their common faith. Many may experience a mixture of joy and sadness as they reflect on the love that will sustain them and the light that Christian brought into their lives.
