Clapham Stabbin – A fatal triple stabbing occurred in Clapham early this morning, leaving one person dead and two others injured.
Emergency services were called to Wandsworth Road, on the Clapham and Battersea border, just after 4 a.m. on Sunday, September 29.
Upon arrival, paramedics and police discovered three people suffering from stab wounds. Despite efforts by emergency responders, one man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two victims, also in their 20s, were taken to the hospital. One of the injured individuals is receiving treatment at a major trauma center, while the other’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Local residents reported hearing a heated altercation, with one woman describing the incident as a “group knife fight.” She recounted hearing shouting outside her flat, which faces the scene of the attack, and noted that residents were told to stay indoors.
The Metropolitan Police have cordoned off the area and established a crime scene. At this time, no arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that multiple resources, including London’s Air Ambulance, were dispatched to the scene. Authorities are working to inform the deceased victim’s next of kin.
