Conrad Proctor Car Accident – A fatal single-car accident claimed the life of 57-year-old Conrad Proctor early Saturday morning on Interstate 630 in Little Rock.

According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred at around 1:10 a.m. near mile marker 7 on the westbound side of the highway.

Proctor, a resident of Little Rock, was a passenger in a 2004 Ford Mustang driven by 26-year-old Jelani Proctor of North Little Rock. Authorities say the vehicle veered off the roadway, striking two trees. The impact of the collision was so severe that it ejected Conrad Proctor through the windshield. The vehicle then caught fire following the crash.

First responders arrived on the scene and were able to pull the driver, Jelani Proctor, from the burning vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. There has been no update on his condition as of the time of this report.

The Arkansas State Police noted that weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, with no further details provided regarding factors that may have contributed to the vehicle going off the road.
