Who was Daniel Gamache?
Amber and Ava of Lynnfield had a devoted father in Daniel Francis Gamache. He was the adored child of Mary Ellen Gamache and George Gamache, who passed away.

Growing up in Walpole, Massachusetts, Dan primarily engaged in sports competitions and enjoyed moments of laughter with his teammates. He spent the summers in Restaino Field with his father, brother Andrew, and other family members.

He was playing football in the autumn with his Pop Warner friends, many of whom he would go on to play as ‘Rebels’ at Walpole High School. Coach Lee’s 1989 high school team that won the Super Bowl included Dan.

Dan attended Stonehill College following his 1991 Walpole graduation, where he played football and earned All-Eastern Collegiate Football Conference honours. In his junior year, he was voted ECFC Lineman of the Year, and in his senior year, he captained the team.

In 2014, Dan received recognition as a member of Stonehill’s Athletic Hall of Fame. As a member of the Lynnfield Men’s Softball League, where he hit the walk-off home run to win the 2024 Championship, he pursued his love of sports later in life. Dan saw being the proud father of his lovely daughters, Amber and Ava, as his greatest accomplishment.
