Death: Callie Metzger Grayson SK ATV Accident, Parkland Fire hockey player died at 19

Callie Metzger Grayson SK ATV Accident – Callie Metzger, a native of Grayson, Saskatchewan, and a hockey player with the Parkland Crushers has tragically passed away.

She was 19 years old at the time of her death. She was announced dead by Melville Minor Hockey in a social media post that reads

“MMHA would like to express our deepest sympathies to the Family, friends, teammates and Coaches of Callie Metzger. Callie was a beautiful soul who will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. She is gone way too soon. Our hockey community is in mourning along side the Metzger family.”

Who was Callie Metzger?
Callie Metzger, who was born on May 22, 2005, was a well-known player in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League. She was a member of the Parkland Crushers while she was playing from 2017 to 2018.

Before moving on to play female hockey with the Parkland Fire, Callie was a member of the teams that competed in the Major Hockey League (MHL). The fire and enthusiasm that she had for life was unparalleled, and her grin had the ability to brighten up a whole room.

Being in Callie’s presence was a delight. It was impossible not to catch her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Everyone had a lot of affection and respect for Callie since she was such a truly remarkable young person.

The smile that she wore was infectious, exactly like her mother’s, and when she smiled, you never knew what to anticipate. She had a smile that was infectious.
