John Hoover was a loving husband and devoted father to two amazing young daughters, who brought light and joy into his life.
He cherished every moment spent with his family, instilling in his girls the values of kindness, hard work, and the importance of pursuing their dreams. Born and raised in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, John developed a strong sense of community and family that shaped his character.
He attended Grosse Pointe North High School, where he not only excelled academically but also forged lifelong friendships and memories that he carried into adulthood.
After high school, he continued his education at Michigan State University, studying from 2014 to 2018. His time at MSU was transformative, providing him with both academic knowledge and a deep appreciation for the relationships he built during those years.

Their bond was evident to everyone around them, characterized by mutual respect, support, and a shared vision for their future together. As a couple, they navigated life’s challenges side by side, always prioritizing their family and creating a nurturing environment for their daughters.
Settling back in Grosse Pointe Woods after their university days, John and Katelyn made a warm and loving home for their girls. John took great pride in being an active participant in his daughters’ lives. His commitment to family was not only reflected in the time he spent with them but also in the values he instilled.
