Jordyn Decedric Campbell Death – In the early hours of Sunday morning, a senseless act of violence shook the west Charlotte community, claiming the life of 18-year-old Jordyn Decedric Campbell.
The young man, a local rapper with a promising future, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting that has left his family, friends, and supporters reeling in shock and grief.
According to Medic and local authorities, the shooting occurred around 12:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of Nobles Avenue, a residential area near West Boulevard and close to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Emergency crews responded swiftly to reports of gunfire and found Campbell suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite their valiant efforts to save him, Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) has launched an active investigation into the incident, but so far, authorities have not released any information about potential suspects or motives in the case.
