Justin Alesna Detroit, MI Death – 36-year-old Detroit, Michigan native Justin Alesna was a first-generation African-American/Filipino-American performer.
Justin made people happy wherever he went. Although the circumstances of his death are unclear, reports state that he was discovered dead.
He was an air of freedom who gave everyone a sense of affection. When he entered a room, the atmosphere changed, becoming considerably more lively and spirit-filled. He was wonderful, hilarious, and very lighthearted. Filled with extraordinary talent.
In March 2011, Alesna was attacked in the fuel station convenience store of a BP service station. Alesna claims that this is the start of a video that he posted to YouTube, in which he describes how that evening at the gas station, a different client struck him in the face and made derogatory remarks about gay people.
The case was investigated by the Detroit Police Department. Alesna is seen wearing a blue, striped hooded sweater in the video. The right eye he has is swollen.
While Alesna was standing in line to buy cigarrettes, he reported that one person had asked him not to stand too close to him. After that, Alesna claims the man started asking her if she was “a fucking homo.” Alesna decided to ignore him, bought cigarrettes, and was about to go away when the man stopped him and pointed out a gun.
Alesna then reported that she saw the man strike him in the face. Alesna struggled for a while before asking the clerk to call the police. The cashier did warn the men to stop fighting, even if she did not call the police.
