KayLee Dutton Death – Tragedy unfolded in Cedar City on Friday night as 17-year-old KayLee Dutton lost her life in a horrific act of violence.

According to the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, KayLee was chased down in a vehicle and fatally shot in what authorities describe as a senseless attack.

The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on January 17, near the intersection of Midvalley Road and 4300 West. Responding to a 911 call about gunfire targeting a vehicle, deputies arrived to find KayLee severely injured. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by deputies and medical personnel, KayLee succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended four suspects in connection with the crime: Michael Hess-Witucki, Matthew Sorber-Petrie, Aldric Felipe, and Ethan Galloway.

Investigators revealed that Hess-Witucki fired 12 rounds, ultimately taking KayLee’s life. The motives behind the attack remain under investigation, though authorities are working diligently to ensure justice is served.

KayLee’s death has sent shockwaves through the Cedar City community, where she is remembered as a vibrant and loving young woman with a promising future.
