Death; Raven Francis, New Orleans mother of 4 died in Mid-City shooting

Raven Francis Death – The New Orleans Police Department is conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred in Mid-City and resulted in the death of a lady and the injury of four other people.

Raven Francis, who was 29 years old, was said to be the victim by the family. A physical confrontation took place at a business located in the 4100 block of South Carrollton Avenue, according to the police.

The altercation began between two people. Immediately following the dispute, the group was driving away from the location when they were attacked by a gunman who remained to be identified.

According to the police, the vehicle was involved in a collision with a fire hydrant and then proceeded to roll over at the intersection of South Solomon Street and Baudin Street.

There were five people, including the victim, who were found to be suffering from gunshot wounds when the police arrived at the site. According to the police, Francis was taken to a nearby hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and passed away there. It was reported by the police that four additional women were shot that evening and are expected to be okay.

Family members stated that only two ladies were shot, and the remaining three women had injuries as a result of the accident that occurred shortly after. This is an investigation that is still underway.
