Wyatt Duckworth Middletown OH Death – Preble Shawnee Local School District student Wyatt Duckworth of Middletown, Ohio has sadly passed away.
He died after a tragic accident that also left two others injured on Thursday 17th October 2024. The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the 6700 block of West Elkton Road, where Duckworth’s vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, leading to a devastating impact with an SUV.
Wyatt Duckworth, a junior at Preble Shawnee High School, was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple traumatic injuries. His 13-year-old sister, Callie Duckworth, who was a passenger in the car, sustained severe life-threatening injuries. She was airlifted to Dayton Children’s Hospital and is currently in critical condition.
The other vehicle involved was driven by 60-year-old Kevin Johnson, a teacher at Edgewood City Schools. Johnson also suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where he remains hospitalized. The Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Response Team (S.T.A.R.T.) is conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
