Dr. William Nicholas Abraham Death, Mental health therapist found dead in Tangipahoa Parish

Dr. William Nicholas Abraham, a 69-year-old mental health specialist from Baton Rouge, has been identified from a body discovered wrapped in a tarp near Highway 51 in Tangipahoa Parish.

Abraham died from blunt force injuries, as confirmed by detectives, and his death is being looked at as a homicide.

Abraham’s body was found on Sunday morning, folded up in a tarp and left behind, along the road between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Right now, investigators are trying to figure out where the murder happened. Sheriff Sid Gautreaux confirmed the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office’s participation in the inquiry on Monday.
