Dylon Powley Accident Death- Owner of PK Academy and EX-Player of FC Edmonton & Alberta Soccer, Dylon Powley has sadly passed away.

The 27 year-old sportsman Former FC Edmonton and Atletico Ottawa keeper was confirmed dead on Thursday night, June 20, 2024 following a rather father event which happened unexpectedly.

Reports revealed that he was involved in a motorcycle accident where he tragically died. Prior to his death last night following the motorcycle accident, his family had lost their son, Nicholas, in March 2023.

Dylon will be sorely missed since he was a wonderful person both on and off the field. Many friends, in his remembrance described him as “one of kind, amazing kid and man.” Soccer was the life of Dylon Powley and he made sure he impacted it in more ways than he even could realize.

About Dylon Powley
In 2016, Dylon made his debut for Tommy Wheeldon Jr.’s Foothills FC boys team as a walk-on. He was voted the MVP of the supporters that season because of his crucial role in their run to the finals.

He was set to trial and sign with FC Gute in the Swedish Football Div 2 in 2018, after which he would return home to play for FC Edmonton and Atletico Ottawa.

In 2022, Dylon decided to give up playing in order to concentrate on coaching and pursuing a career as an Alberta peace officer. Dylon has been officiating youth soccer and L1AB matches more recently.

The Alberta Soccer community, as well as the FC Edmonton and Atletico Ottawa are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of former FC Edmonton and Calgary Foothills goalkeeper Dylon Powley.

Dylon stayed involved in the game as an Alberta Soccer Team coach and referee after leaving professional soccer in 2022. This period was one which can =not easily be forgotten considering the impact he made on the team during his time there.
