Ethan Dalton of San Marcos Texas died on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. No cause of death has been reported for Ethan Dalton. Thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
About Ethan Dalton
Ethan exemplified the core values of his fraternity through his daily life. He earned the Zeta Theta scholarship for maintaining a 4.0 GPA for three years and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Known for his dedication, Ethan not only achieved academic excellence but also helped others, standing up for those in need since childhood.
As a senior, he maintained a perfect GPA throughout all six semesters and devoted his free time to charitable causes, particularly supporting firefighters.
He was a two-time recipient of the Pi Kappa Alpha scholarship and the Texas Rising Star award. In his honor, the Texas State Pi Kappa Alpha scholarship will now bear his name.

“We would like to raise money for a new scholarship that will be made in honor of Ethan Dalton and his tremendous dedication to his studies. The scholarship will be awarded to brothers that mirror the same dedication as our late brother,” a statement on the GoFundMe page read.
Candlelight vigil
There are so many people that want to say goodbye to him that we have decided not to have services here in Colorado. Instead, Texas State University and Pi Kappa Alpha have scheduled a candlelight vigil at 7:30 PM on Thursday Sept 5.
