Hunter Conner GoFundMe – Hunter Scott Conner, 22, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on January 18, 2025.

Born on December 5, 2002, in Newburgh, Hunter was the beloved son of Norman Scott Conner and Kimberly J. Croft. His passing leaves an indelible void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Hunter was an industrious and passionate young man. He took great pride in owning and operating his business, Conner Lawn Care, and also worked diligently at Walmart Automotive in Newburgh. His dedication to his work was matched only by his zest for life and his kind, compassionate nature.

Hunter’s infectious smile and playful sense of humor lit up every room he entered. He was an avid outdoorsman who inherited his love for hunting and fishing from his father and grandfather. Whether it was deer, duck, or turkey hunting, or simply enjoying nature, Hunter embraced life in the outdoors.

Hunter deeply valued his family and relationships. He loved spending time with his parents, siblings, and extended family, often taking jeep rides and exploring with his girlfriend, Haley, and his loyal dog, Gunner. He brought joy to those around him and was the cornerstone of many treasured memories.

Preceded in Death
Hunter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Mary Croft of Evansville.

Hunter is survived by his loving family, including his:

  • Father, Scott Conner (Marlo)
  • Grandparents, Norman and Mary Conner
  • Siblings: Jordan “JP” Pryor, Skyler Conner, Tristyn Conner, Hanna Workman, and Olivia Workman
  • Niece and nephew, Hadley and Owen Mayes
  • Girlfriend, Haley Batton
  • Beloved dog, Gunner
  • Aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and a multitude of friends who loved him dearly
  • Celebration of Life
    Visitation for Hunter will be held at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville Chapel (304 E. Main St., Boonville, IN 47601) on:
    Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Monday, January 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the service time.
    Funeral services will follow on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Robert Swedenhjelm.
