Guns brandished at Germantown: A heavy police presence has been reported at Germantown High School in Germantown, WI following a shooting call on Friday, October 25, 2024.
Police said the call came around 7 p.m. and claimed an armed shooter was at the school campus (during the ongoing Germantown Vs. Cedarburg | Wisconsin High School Football).
Police and Sheriffs from Washington County are presently sweeping the building. There has been no confirmation of earlier social media allegations indicating the presence of a person with a weapon. As of 7:13 p.m., this is not confirmed.
Deputy at the scene who said things were “almost secure” and they are “sweeping the inside of the school.” A boys’ volleyball game was underway at the high school when the scene formed.
