Gwendolyn Retta Dobson Death: Summersville, West Virginia resident died on August 26

Gwendolyn Retta Dobson Death – After Gwendolyn Retta Dobson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 26, 2024, quietly in her sleep, the Summersville community is in sorrow.

As they come to terms with Gwendolyn’s passing, her family, friends, and loved ones are in great sorrow. In her town, Gwendolyn was well-liked for her warmth, friendliness, and steadfast love for her family.

Her sons, Nathan and Gareth Jordan, are now confronted with the difficult responsibility of planning her burial. Her abrupt departure has left a vacuum in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Nathan Jordan has taken the lead in setting up a fundraising to assist with Gwendolyn’s burial expenses following the death of their mother. The family is asking for help from the community as they are having difficulty raising the money needed to make sure Gwendolyn has a proper send-off.

With contributions from people like Kristian Knudsen and Adam Casey, who have kindly given to support the family during this trying time, the fundraising has so far raised $700 of its $7,100 goal. Although they still have a long way to go until they achieve their goal, the Jordan family is incredibly appreciative of the assistance they have already received.

A close friend of the Jordan brothers, Rebecca Couch, posted condolences and encouragement on Facebook for the Jordan brothers. “Today, two of our son’s closest friends lost their mother, very unexpectedly,” she revealed. It would be a blessing if you could contribute in any way toward her service or burial expenses, or if you shared this post in the hopes that someone else could.

Many others in the community found resonance in this message, which led to an outpouring of love and support for the family. Gareth Jordan replied to Rebecca’s post by expressing his appreciation for her generosity and encouragement.

With a “you’re welcome, sweetie,” Rebecca answered. Would that we could accomplish more. We all pray for you and Nathan since we love you both so much. The conversation illustrates the strong ties of camaraderie and support that are getting the Jordan family through this trying period.
