Howard Stone Missing – The 64-year-old Spanish Fork, Utah, native Howard Stone is still wanted.
This is Friday, August 23, and it is the thirteenth day that he has not been in contact with or seen by his family.
Howard’s kid reported him missing after hiking to Little Wild Horse Canyon in Emery County. Since then, no one has been able to give exact details on his whereabouts.
Howard Stone spent Saturday, August 10, playing golf at the Millsite Golf Course in the early hours of the day before hiking into a slot canyon near Goblin Valley. When he did not come back and his attempts at communication were not successful, family members began to worry.
Howard Stone informed his family he was going to hike the canyon after playing golf, but they realized something wasn’t right when he didn’t respond to his son’s text.
In order to ensure that Howard is located and brought back to his family as soon as possible, they are pleading with the public to share this information. Kindly remain vigilant and notify anyone you think might have knowledge.
The daily search continues involves family members, DPS workers, state park officials, and Emery County SAR and SO officers. Contact the Emery County Sheriff’s Office at (435-381-2112) if you have any information.
