I-270 Motorcycle Accident Today – Two motorcycles collided on westbound Interstate 270 in Commerce City early Saturday morning, sending three people to the hospital.
The two motorcycles were likely traveling at a high speed down the westbound interstate near York Street when they crashed and slid, one hitting another vehicle, the Commerce City Police Department said in a statement on social media at 2:46 a.m. Saturday.
Both drivers and one teenage passenger were hospitalized, and the teenager’s injuries are critical, police said. The drivers’ ages were not available.

The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead on Interstate 40 on Friday night.
At around 9:55 p.m. on Friday, GPD, Greensboro firefighters and Guilford County EMS came to I-40 East near Exit 224 for East Lee Street/East Gate City Boulevard after getting a report of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Investigators say that a man was trying to walk across the lanes of I-40 East when he was hit by a Mercedes-Benz SUV. A Mazda 3 was driving behind the SUV and swerved off the road to avoid the collision.
The Mazda then struck a guardrail on the outside shoulder of the road.
