Isabelle Vezina-Dykeman Winooski VT Death, Mill School student died by suicide following relentless bulling

Isabelle Vezina-Dykeman Winooski VT Death – A 14-year-old Vermont girl, Isabelle Vezina-Dykeman, tragically took her own life after enduring relentless bullying at school.

Isabelle was a freshman at the Mill School in Winooski, an alternative high school for students with complex needs.

Her mother, Heather Miller, shared that her daughter had been excited to start the school year but faced cruel teasing, particularly about her mother’s health issues.

Miller, who had recently undergone brain surgery that left her with a partially closed eye, said that her daughter was bullied over her appearance. Isabelle was subjected to taunts throughout the school day and even after hours via heartless text messages. Despite her outgoing and vibrant personality, the constant harassment took a toll on her.

On September 15, after returning home visibly upset, Isabelle took her own life just 35 minutes later. Her devastated mother, who thought giving her daughter space would help, was left heartbroken by the sudden tragedy.

The Mill School has since launched an investigation into the bullying claims and expressed their grief in a public statement. Isabelle’s death has sparked deep concern over the impact of bullying, and her family has made the selfless decision to donate her organs, saving the lives of seven people, including restoring sight to another child through her eyes.
