UPS Driver Suicide Investigations: Law enforcement agencies have identified the victim who passed away yesterday as a UPS driver from Baldwin Park, California. According to reports, the UPS driver died after he was struck by a Metrolink train bound for San Bernardino. The incident happened at approximately 3:30 P.M.
According to reports, Jaime Soria was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. Following the incident, heavy traffic was reported in the area of Barranca Avenue between Edna Place and San Bernardino Road. Police announced that the Pomona and Covina intersection was closed to traffic due to the incident. Following the incident, UPS West Covina has not released any official details.
Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene for a report of a pedestrian struck by a train bound for San Bernardino. Multiple agencies responded to the scene of the incident for investigations. Jaime Soria was located crushed by the train. Officials say no foul play is suspected.
