James Ely Lexington SC Death – Tragically, James Ely, a citizen of South Carolina, went away.

On August 20, 2024, a startling incident that claimed the life of Mr. Kevin Scott Collins, 63, led to the 17-year-old man’s official declaration of death.

On the 200 block of Kyzer Road in the Lexington, Kentucky, area of Lexington County, there was an incident at 9:55 p.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the incident.

What was the motorcycle versus pedestrian collision?
According to Coroner Fisher, James Leonard Ely III, 17, of Lexington, struck Mr. Kevin Scott Collins, 63, of Lexington, who was crossing Kyzer Road after checking his mailbox, while he was riding a motorcycle west.

Mr. Collins was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries sustained in the crash. Mr. Ely, who was wearing a helmet, was likewise pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries sustained in the crash. The rider on Mr. Ely’s motorcycle was sent to a local hospital with minor wounds.
