James Roberts Dorsey IL Death – Tuesday afternoon, the Madison County Coroner’s Office was able to determine the identity of the person who passed away as a result of an accident.
At approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, James H. Roberts, who was 67 years old at the time, was operating a semi truck that was responsible for transporting rocks on northbound Illinois Route 159 close to North Deer Park Drive.
An additional truck that was transporting pebbles in the direction of the northbound lane crossed the centre line and collided with Roberts.
For the purpose of avoiding colliding with a fuel tanker that was stopped in the northbound lane in order to make a left turn, the authorities said that the truck that was travelling northward crossed the centre line. That motorist was sent to a nearby medical facility.
It was just before five o’clock when Roberts was pronounced dead. According to the early findings of an autopsy, the cause of death was determined to be blunt force to the head, neck, and chest.
According to the authorities, there is no definitive cause of death at this time because they are still waiting for the results of a toxicological test. The Illinois State Police and its Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision between the two vehicles.
