Jeremy Mickelson Death – A fatal ATV crash occurred in Becker County on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a Minneapolis man.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an ATV accident at approximately 3 p.m. on Wolf Lake Forest Road in Wolf Lake Township.
According to the driver, identified as 48-year-old Jeremy Paul Mickelson, was operating a 2020 Polaris Sportsman 1000 when the vehicle went off the road while navigating a curve. Mickelson lost control of the ATV, leading to a serious crash.
Emergency first responders quickly arrived at the scene and initiated lifesaving efforts in an attempt to save Mickelson’s life. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Mickelson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office has not yet released further details regarding the cause of the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing. It is unclear at this time what factors may have contributed to the accident, such as speed, road conditions, or vehicle malfunction.
