He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “We are so heartbroken to learn of the unexpected passing of our longtime friend John Passmore. Andrew was just with him on Wednesday. We have known John since we moved here from Maui in 2004. Our sympathies and prayers to his family and all who loved him. Such a huge loss to our community.”

John Passmore was a Mortgage Banker at My Mortgage, Inc., in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a Mortgage Loan Officer at Nexa Mortgage, LLC. He was very knowledgeable, very kind, and empathetic. He was a great Loan Officer who worked hard and had clear communication skills. He always had advice and an opinion about everything, and he liked to talk about life.
Many people went to him for advice and to soak up the love, wisdom, and kindness that made him who he was. He liked to try new things and made friends with everyone he met. He welcome countless people who needed a kind hand, a listening ear, and an open heart. He was a big, kind, funny, and wise man who was beautiful on the inside and out. He had the most beautiful smile and a kind heart, and his personality was so lively that it lit up a room.
He left his mark everywhere he went. He inspired people to live their truth and have a purpose in life. Unconditional love was his trademark. He was a real blessing. He will forever be remembered for his hard work ethic, for being an amazing husband and the best father in the entire universe, for his fun-loving and adventurous spirit, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
