Joseph Jerald “Jerry / Craze” Hogan, 65, of Odell passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph in Bloomington. He was born May 26, 1959 in Pontiac, the son of Joseph and Dorothy Overocker Hogan.
Jerry is survived by three children, Nathon Hogan, Joseph Hogan, and Onyx Charron; a granddaughter, Lorelai Hogan; eight siblings, Bob (Toni) Hogan, Mick (Kathy) Hogan, Mary (Dana) Berry, Bill Hogan, Tom Hogan, Kathy (Roger) Feltenz, Tim Hogan, and Shari (Dave) Bremer; and many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his significant other, Diane Masching. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by a brother, Pat Hogan; and a sister-in-law Beth Hogan.
Jerry loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Lorelai who was the joy of his life. He was an animal lover, who always fed the squirrels and birds, and made sure every night ended with a bonfire with Diane who made the last two years some of the best he had.
A funeral service will be held Monday, August 26th at 1 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Odell.
