Josh Powell Canton CT Death:- Joshua ‘Josh’ Daniel Powell, a resident of Canton, Connecticut, has died.
The announcement of his death was made on Thursday, August 1, 2024. Josh passed away at the age of twenty-five. He was a unique individual with a unique narrative. The cause of mortality has not been disclosed.
Who was Josh Powell?
Joshua was born on December 15, 1998. His charisma and capacity to establish connections with others enabled him to surpass expectations, despite his limited understanding of American society and his lack of proficiency in English.
He frequently played pickup games at Mills Pond or bounced his ball on the pavements of Canton. Josh participated in track and field, Canton football, and basketball on the J.V. and Varsity teams during his high school years.
His senior year, he was awarded the Canton High School Sportsmanship award for demonstrating sportsmanship, effort, and enthusiasm on all teams. Josh received an Outstanding Achievement in Public Speaking award prior to his graduation from Canton High School in 2017.
In 2021, he earned a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Business from Western New England University. He was a dorm Resident Assistant and conducted summer orientation, and he was recognized for his academic achievement by being named to the Dean’s List for three consecutive semesters. During his semester abroad in London, Josh was named Regents University Men’s Basketball Player of the Year.
His year-long managerial career at the vitamin store commenced during his college years. He was an exceptional salesman and manager due to his dedication to fitness, health, and weightlifting, as well as his charm and rigorous work ethic.
Josh obtained his Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford while simultaneously working full-time. With unwavering determination and minimal sleep, he successfully completed his degree in a year.

Josh is survived by his mother, Lori Snow, and her companion, Martin O’Connell, of Congers, NY, as well as his father, Jack Powell, of Canton. Josh will be sadly missed by his siblings, Zachary Powell and his partner, Cathryn Chang; Alexandra Powell and her partner, Alexa Morales; Noelia Powell; Jose Alberto Rodriguez and his wife, Nayara Colon; and Mikaela Massimino and her spouse, Matthew.

Services will be conducted in a confidential manner. The Canton Firehouse, located at 14 Canton Springs Road, is hosting a CELEBRATION OF LIFE gathering from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
