Joshua Ward “Voraath” Death, 4 died in Greenville car accident, Nicholas Meeks arrested for DUI

Joshua Ward “Voraath” Death – Four individuals were killed in a crash in Greenville County on New Year’s Eve, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and a man is being charged.

According to authorities, the collision occurred on Cooley Bridge Road close to Pearson Road shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

All four of the victims were in the same car when the collision occurred, according to Shelton England of the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.

Two of the victims were named by England Wednesday morning as Amanda Lynn Leroux, 30, of North Carolina, and Audrey Maris Ross, 29, of Donalds. He stated that following confirmation, the identities of the remaining two fatalities will be made public.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that a 2012 BMW sedan heading south struck a 2017 Subaru SUV as it was backing out of a private drive onto Cooley Bridge Road. The BMW then crashed into a tree after going off the road. During the collision, the Subaru’s four occupants perished.

According to troopers, the crash was caused by speed and alcohol. Nicholas Shane Meeks, the driver of the BMW, was taken into custody and lodged into the Greenville County Detention Center.

According to troopers, Meeks was charged with four counts of felony DUI involving death. He received a $653 bond for driving with a suspended license but no bond for those offenses.

In March 2024, Meeks was found guilty of DUI, according to officials. Cans and bottles of alcohol were discovered strewn about in the yards of Cooley Bridge Road neighbors on Monday. The Highway Patrol verified that speed and drinking were contributing factors in the collision.

According to the neighbors, a huge explosion occurred Tuesday night at 9:14. They say it was too late, but several hurried to the wreckage and attempted to assist. Meeks will eventually appear before a circuit judge court. According to the coroner’s office, efforts are still on to positively identify the other two crash victims from Tuesday.
