Josiah Dottin Amazing Grace Apostolic Church Pastor: Pastor at the Amazing Grace Apostolic Church in Montgomery, New York, lost his son to a mental battle last weekend.
21-year-old Josiah Dottin was the son of Pastor Danny Dottin and Lady Christine Dottin of the Amazing Grace Apostolic Church.
Josiah Dottin passed away from an apparent suicide by jumping on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Josiah’s body was recovered from the Hudson River on Sunday afternoon.
Law enforcement agencies say the victim identified as a 21-year-old man died after jumping from the mid-span of the bridge just before 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. He was a resident of Montgomery.
State Police said the body of a man who jumped to his death from the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge on Saturday, August 3. The deadly incident that happened on the bridge over the Hudson River. Police say his remains were located around 2:25 P.M. by The State Police Underwater Recovery Team.
Bishop John C Williams, of Faith Alive Ministries FAMCHURCH released the following statement; “It’s with profound sadness that we have to share the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved nephew Josiah Dottin! Josiah is the son of our dearest friends and covenant brother and sister Pastor Danny Dottin and Lady Christine Dottin of the Amazing Grace Apostolic Church. Our hearts are extremely heavy right now. But we submit to God in this tragic situation. And we trust that he knows all things and will activate the revelation of this moment! Please keep the Dottin family and all of us who are connected and family in fervent prayer! Even through tears, our faith is still intact.”
