Kelly Barrett Sarama Buffalo NY Death:- Center for Elder Law & Justice healthcare lawyer Kelly Barrett Sarama and her baby boy, Noah has passed away. She was announced dead on September 3rd, 2024.

Kelly Barrett Sarama from Buffalo, New York experienced a sudden medical emergency during the final stages of her pregnancy, which tragically resulted in her death along with the loss of her baby boy, Noah.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian, and a supportive network of family and friends who are committed to continuing her legacy of helping others.

About Kelly Barrett Sarama
Kelly Barrett Sarama, Esq. was the Director of Development & Communications at the Center for Elder Law & Justice (CELJ) in Buffalo, NY, where she managed fundraising, grant writing, corporate relations, and events. She also oversaw branding, media relations, social media, and marketing.

Prior to this role, Kelly was a Supervising Attorney at CELJ’s Health Care Advocacy Unit, focusing on appeals and grievances related to Medicaid and other health insurance issues.

She actively participated in coalitions advocating for health care rights and was involved with the Bar Association of Erie County as a Board Member and Chair of the Elder Law Committee.

Kelly earned her BA and JD from SUNY institutions and was recognized as a “next generation leader” by Buffalo News in 2019, named to Buffalo Business First’s 30 Under 30 in 2018, and included in Super Lawyers® Rising Stars from 2019-2022. She was known for her dedication to advocacy and her roles as a devoted wife and friend.

For those who knew Kelly and wish to offer their support, her services will be as follows: The wake will be held on Monday, September 9th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the funeral service taking place on Tuesday, September 10th, at 10:00 AM. Both will be held at Amigone Funeral Home, 2600 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda, NY 14150 (corner of Parker and Sheridan).
