Ken Biddle Obituary, Death – In the wake of his passing, Kenneth leaves behind a legacy cherished by his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue Biddle, his son Roger (Debbie) Biddle of Millbury, OH, his daughter Jane (Steve) Hawkins of Liberty Center, his sister Donna Luebker, his brothers William (Pauline) Biddle and James (Judy) Biddle, his sister-in-law Kay Falor, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in his heart.
Although Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Wayne Biddle, in 1974, and his brother, Gordon Biddle, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Friends and acquaintances gathered to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Barnes Funeral Chapel in Delta. A funeral service honoring Kenneth’s life took place on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, officiated by Pastor Teresa Wenrick, followed by interment at Greenlawn Cemetery. A luncheon held at the Delta American Legion provided an opportunity for remembrance and reflection.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be directed to the Delta American Legion, a fitting tribute to Kenneth’s dedication to community and service.
Kenneth W. Biddle, a resident of Delta, Ohio, breathed his last on February 16, 2018, just one day after marking his 90th birthday. Born on February 15, 1928, in Wauseon, he was the offspring of Ralph Biddle and Mable (Mohler) Biddle. On October 22, 1949, he exchanged vows with Sue Falor, embarking on a journey of companionship that spanned 68 years.As we bid farewell to Kenneth W. Biddle, may his enduring spirit and cherished memories continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives he touched.
For 43 years, Kenneth served as a dedicated production attendant at Johns Manville in Waterville until his well-deserved retirement. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life, as evidenced by his active involvement in the Delta American Legion, where he once held the position of finance officer.
Kenneth’s interests were as diverse as they were enriching. A fervent admirer of Civil War history, he immersed himself in its study, fostering a deep appreciation for the past. Additionally, he found joy and fulfillment in amateur radio, identifying himself with the call sign “WA8OOM”.
