Kevin Kozar Death Thunder Bay ON: Passionate KC Minor Hockey volunteer has died

Kevin Kozar Death Thunder Bay ON – Passionate KC Minor Hockey volunteer and successful entrepreneur Kevin Kozar has died. He was announced dead by those affected by his passing.

Kevin Kozar of Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away this past weekend. The cause of Kevin Kozar’s death has not been released.

“It is with inconceivably heavy hearts that we at KC Minor Hockey mourn the sudden loss of Kevin Kozar this past weekend.” He was an exceptionally warm and welcoming person.

Who was Kevin Kozar?
Kevin served as a companion, leader, and moral compass, providing guidance when required. He was a legend in the local hockey community, the reason so many individuals joined the KC Executive and so few ever left.

He was an outlier in a community that is frequently associated with ego and personal achievement, and all he ever cared about was doing what was best for the kids, because that is what Kevin believed hockey was for.

Kevin was named HNO Volunteer of the Year for the 2021-22 hockey season, which was well deserved but also made him quite uncomfortable because he never did what he did for attention or recognition.

After taking a couple of years off to work on his own developing business, Kevin was feeling the itch to return to hockey. He was always an advocate for positive development and advancement in his town, so he was happy to see Thunder Bay’s hockey scene transform.

For years, Kevin gave of himself unselfishly and relentlessly, first as a hockey dad and then as a coach, manager, executive member, and finally as the longstanding President (serving more terms than anyone should have to). He frequently put the interests of the hockey community before his team’s.
