Kian Hamilton Sandy City, UT Death – On the evening of Friday, August 23, a Jordan high school student named Kian Hamilton was tragically stabbed in Sandy.
Kian, who was 16 years old at the time, was reportedly stabbed in the parking lot of the Mountain American Expo Center in Sandy, which is situated at 9575 S. State Street.
In the moment when the first responders got at the scene, they immediately began performing life-saving procedures on the individual. Following this, Kian Hamilton was taken to a nearby hospital; unfortunately, they were unable to recover from their injuries and passed very soon after.
The suspect, who was also a minor, was taken into custody and is still being held, as stated in a press statement issued by the Sandy police department on Saturday.
Counselors will be accessible on Saturday to provide aid to children and teachers who are grieving, as stated by the Canyons School District. There have been letters issued to parents, and counselors will be present to provide assistance. This incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
