Lanyah Dawson Death – A 20-year-old woman is dead after a shooting overnight in Mount Airy Forest, the Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) said.
CPD said officers arrived at the 4900 block of Trail Ridge Road just before 12:30 a.m. for a reported unresponsive person in the roadway.
Upon arrival, officers found Lanyah Dawson in the roadway with a gunshot wound. Dawson was treated by first responders, who determined she was deceased, CPD said.
CPD didn’t say if they have any suspects in the shooting, but the Homicide Unit’s investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
