Michelle Collins Death and Obituary: Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates shooting after two lives were lost in Magnolia, Montgomery County, Texas Friday. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a thorough investigation into a tragic incident that occurred in Magnolia on January 26, 2024.
According to law enforcement agencies, at approximately 9:10 a.m., Deputies responded to a welfare concern at a home located in the Northgrove Subdivision. According to reports, arriving officers located the deceased bodies of a man and woman. Police say the bodies had gunshot wounds. A weapon was recovered at the scene, and there is no known threat to the community, investigators said.
Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, along with Crime Scene Investigators are continuing to investigate the incident. Preliminary investigations determined that the incident is a domestic situation.According to reports, Michelle Collins husband Donnie Collins died from suicide after shooting and killing the fourth grade elementary school teacher inside their home.
The victim has been locally identified as Michelle Collins a 4th grade teacher at Cedric C Smith Elementary School in Montgomery County, Texas. She was an amiable teacher and staff at the Magnolia Independent School District.
