On Saturday, August 10, 2024, he was announced dead by friends and family, who have expressed their sincere grief towards him unexpected passing.
Following a tragic motorcycle accident that happened around midnight on Friday, August 9, Maurice died, causing a huge shock amongst his community and people who knew and lived with him during his life.
The news of his death remains a shock to many people who had the privilege of meeting and working with him during the course of his well lived life. As devastated as as his friends and loved ones are, they know and have come to terms with the fact that he is in a better place. However, his family is need of all the love and support they can get at this time.

Maurice Griffin worked at Lil Hot Rod Mobile detailing. He went to North Charleston High where he completed his secondary education. He was a longtime native of Charleston, South Carolina, spending the most of his early life there before finally moving to Columbia, South Carolina where he lived until the time of his untimely death.
He loved his bikes an old school cars so much. It was no doubt that he was no stranger to anyone and knew so many people deeply, making them laugh and trying to convince them to believe the lies he so conveniently told. Maurice would usually go on late night drives with friends listening to his mixes while they shared stories and laughs.
