Meadowbrook High School Stabbing: Student knifed at Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, VA

Meadowbrook High School Stabbing Investigations: Police, fire, and other emergency personnel have descended on Meadowbrook High School in Chesterfield County, where Crime Insider sources tell Jon Burkett a stabbing has occurred.

Chesterfield police later gave the following information: Chesterfield police responded to a suspected stabbing at Meadowbrook High School. One student was hurt and was evacuated to a nearby hospital.

One suspect, who is also a student, is currently in custody. No suspects are at large. There is no threat to the community at this time. Meadowbrook remains under lockdown, but the school is commencing a restricted release of pupils.

Student drivers will be released from school, and buses will take students home. Parents should contact Meadowdale Library to arrange for student reunification. There is still no indication on the injured student’s condition.

Multiple parents have reported seeing at least 20 emergency vehicles parked outside the school, which is located on the 4900 block of Cogbill Road in North Chesterfield. Police have blocked traffic on Cogbill Road, she said.
