Megan Voss GoFundMe On the evening of December 30, 2024, 17-year-old Megan Voss was involved in a devastating car accident that forever changed the life of her family

It was just after 7:30 PM when a speeding vehicle, driven by a suspected drunk driver, ran a stop sign on Sunset Drive in Waukesha, Wisconsin, colliding with two other cars.

Megan was critically injured and transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital, but despite the heroic efforts of the medical team, she tragically passed away.

Adding to thr heartache, the family dog, Bleu, was also gravely injured in the crash. Bleu suffered severe trauma to his back legs and is currently paralyzed. He’s under the care of an emergency vet, heavily sedated and on pain medication. We are clinging to hope, but the outlook is grim.

Megan was a radiant soul who brought joy and light to everyone she met. She had an infectious smile that could brighten anyone’s day and a personality that left a lasting impression. A senior at Waukesha West High School, Megan excelled in academics, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and was a proud member of the school’s cheerleading team.

She had recently earned a scholarship to a private Christian college in Arizona, where she planned to study nursing, aspiring to become a doctor. Her strong Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, and we find some comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of the Savior she held so dear.

The family is grieving deeply. Megan’s absence is felt in every moment, and the loss is immeasurable. As we navigate this painful time, we are also facing mounting financial challenges. In addition to funeral costs, there are medical and veterinary bills that need to be addressed.
